Local band “Jazziando...Latin Jazz & More”, seems like the perfect fit for this growing and diverse hot Latin scene in the “Triangle” area. The band performs as a five to seven piece, and is bringing an agile and unique sound to the scene. Breaking away from the traditional "Salsa" formulas, the creative Latin Jazz ensemble is making music that is both relaxed and hot! Performing instrumental Latin Jazz, along with some Brazilian infused rhythms, allowing you to just sit back enjoying their sound, or get on the dance floor moving to the mambos. The band is also, absolutely perfect for relatively intimate club spaces.
Director Billy Marrero always knew that there was a public that enjoyed the genre, but there wasn’t anyone really catering to it. Thus the idea of forming “Jazziando”.
Executing what was not being done by other bands in the area; they bring variety to the scene. “Jazziando” is absolutely comfortable in relatively intimate club spaces as well as larger venues. When a five or seven piece doesn't feel like a logistical compromise, but an opportunity for musical creativity, you know you have something special.
